Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Online service manuals or tech line info?

Does anybody know of any online sites that give indepth tech info like a service manual for vehicles I want info that is more indepth for rebuilding components. Not like Haynes manuals that just gives R&R directions. Would prefer the site to give free info not a subscription style site.
