BoeingDiesel, Stupid question what's "the PDC"? Power Distribution Center??? If so, is it located in the engine compartment left side? You may have helped me solve an intermittent issue I've been having for some time. Please advise.

I could be wrong but I believe with the DTT they remove that relay and put a jumper across the pins. I would have to check mine to verify.

Yes sir; Power Dist Center drivers side. When it happened to me it had only been a short time since the trans was rebuilt and one morning CEL, 2nd gear and reverse only. I cleared the code and restarted with the same symptom. I should have taken the time to think it through but limped it into the trans guy. An hour later he called and said the truck was ready and that the trans relay had gone south. $185.00 later for a $ 25.00 relay all was well.

Relay is still in place = not removed and jumped, replaced it with new yesterday, same ol same ol. So now I have a spare relay.

CEL on? Can you pull any codes? Will it shift 1-2 while in D? Gov transducer and\or solenoid are the usual source of these types of problems, but, the PCM can also be the issue. Mechanically, check gov pressure to see what it is doing as speed increases and go from there.
