After I replaced my OEM lamps in the headlights I tried adjusting the lights. I ended up stripping out the head on the bottom adjusting screw. Does anyone have a suggestion for removing it? It's the one with the Torx 15 head.

We our horse trailer hooked up and I wanted to adjust the lights to compensate for the weight of the trailer. I messed around and just stripped the living cr*p out of the adjusting screw. The better half gave me the " why didn't you just leave them alone" etc, etc, etc the whole trip to Fort Worth and back so please be kind with your responses...

Evan,K-man needed you before he striped the screw, you could of sawzalled a couple loups off his coil springs, fastest way I know of to level a rig.

If the pliers and sawzall doesn't work, put some liquid metal weld in the head and when it starts to set up push a smaller torx head into it and pull it out and let it dry.
Then go ahead and remove it.
Good luck.

Thanks guys.

Hmm, a sawzall. I guess while we're trying to get the screw cut out we can do a little cab modification and, walla! Crew Cab Ram!!!

I ended up pulling the light assembly out and backing the screw out with channel locks. The adjusting screws cost $4 bucks each at my friendly Dodge dealer...

Thanks again.
