I follow this site pretty closely but unfortunately not able to chime in and help much because I'm a novice but I'm learning and hopefully be able to help someday. I'm sitting in my office looking across the street at my 01. 5 24v which is at the fuel pump. I need some advice. While filling up, I drained the fuel/water seperator and forgot to close the valve and started the motor. It ran rough for about 10 seconds before I realized what I had done. I bumped the starter a couple of times and heard the pump run but it wouldn't start (just cranked and cranked)I called my dealer and the service guy told me that I got air in the in lines and would need to manually bleed them. He said to use an 18 or 19 mm wrench loosen the copper lines where they feed into the block and ran me through the process of bleeding them. Does this sound right to you guys? also is there anything else I should be aware of? I have a buddy on the way with wrenches and towels. Thanks in advance. I'll be back and forth between the office and the truck but I'll keep checking back. Thanks
