I recently had installed a Pacbrake PRXB with a ATS Co-Pilot torque converter lockup on my 2005 Dodge 3500 4x4 TD. Everything works great except that I'm confused about the operating instructions that came with the co-pilot. It states that the lockup clutch must be disengaged before the trans will shift out of OD 4th and into 3rd gear. Now when I leave off the accelerator, the exhaust brake comes on and the co-pilot locks the converter all the way down to 30 mph when the brake & converter disengege. Do I need to do anything other that that ? Would appreciate your responses. Thanks.

Is your truck down shifting on its own, most of the time the trans won't do a locked OD to D down shift unless the valve body have been modified.
