Attention: TDR Forum Junkies What should the normal operating temperature be running a 98. 5 24v in New England? I don't do any heavy towing and don't routinely carry heavy loads. This time of year, the temp gauge just gets over 140 and during the summer time it may nudge the second line on the temp gauge. In the last week we've had one major ice storm and 2 big snow dumps and I can never seem to get enough heat out of the defroster to prevent Ice build up on the windshield. Can running this engine continuously at low temps have a negative effect?
