Truck : 1990

Mileage: 225,000

Trans : 5 Speed

4 x 4 Regular cab

What I am looking for is information on some things. One of the current ideas is to put a tilt front end on this truck. Currently, the bed is off, trans, transfer case is out (of the truck ) and the front clip is off. Cab is ready to be taken off now leaving only the motor and chassis there.

A few things that I would like to do is to put a tilt front end on it. Where the hood and fenders tilt in one piece toward the front. Is there any web sites out there or business' that either sell these either as kits or would it all have to be custom? Has anyone ever done anything like this or attempted. I thought it would be cool to trick it out like this.

Another thing is a dump bed, utilizing the factory bed. Kits, websites, or best ways to do this?

Can you buy fiberglass fenders or hoods for these trucks ? Did they ever make them for the first generations?

This is going to be fun, just looking for ideas, suggestions, web sites that can help me out..... and of course, your input.

Thanks in advance.

I had a site bookmarked, but I deleted it the other day. I think it was Fiberglass Reproductions. They had tip-ups, hoods, fenders, all back to the '70's. As for the bed, check your local big truck body dealer. They have hoists for pickups up to 10 wheelers.

I would use www.usbody.com as well ive used some of their product's before pretty good stuff.

Ive been eyeballing a new hood 3" cowl indcution hood might need the extra room for a few goodies.
