Opinions and ? about Mallard R.V....

My dad just bought a Mallard 26' fiver. I haven't seen it yet as he's working in Ga. He got a pretty good deal on it,($5800 for a 95 model)I thought. Any problems-concerns to look for?I don't have much experience with T. T. so any help is appreciated... Doug

I have a 98 Mallard 24J (built by Fleetwood) that I have had excellent luck with. I know that Fleetwood gets trashed quite a bit but I have had no problems and have over 10K miles on it. I don't know if Fleetwood owned Mallard in 95... . maybe Barry can help out here.

We're the 2'nd owners of a 25' 1997 5er and we are happy with it except it only carries 30 gal. of fresh water. Other than that it's been a keeper.

Thanks guys,I know it's a little late for opinions now since he's already bought it. It's good to get some good comments though. I know I'll be working on it if it breaks. Anything maintainence wise I should watch for?And yes,Paul it's made by Fleetwood... Doug
