Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) opinions on a truck

Hi, Im in the market for my first CTD and im trying to find one that i can afford . Im thinking mid 20,s is about as high as i can go . I saw a truck in a local classifieds its a 1999 quadcab 4x4 5 speed manual it has 120,000 miles on it . I talked to the guy seling it he said he just recently replaced the lift pump the cluch is new and it has good brakes he wants $17,000 for it. The thing that scare me is the miles it has on it should i worry about that amount of miles ?. I will have to finance it and i don,t whant to be having to pay left and righ to fix it . thanks Bkenny

you sure you want a 24v? 120k on a Cummins is nothing, but I just don't like the 24v fuel systems.
