I seen PDR is having a sale on Bosch 275s, and wondering what the general concensus is on them as far is power, smoke, etc. I thought someone said they would go real well with my Edge EZ.

I had better mileage with the RV275s than I did with the stock injectors or the 1. 6 injectors. Smoke was very mild with the RV275s and I've been considering going back to the RV 275s.

275 injectors are a nice addition to a Edge EZ. Very little smoke, good power although your seat'o pants dyno may not notice it. Tow something and you will realize the extra power.

My Father (Jack In Alaska) had a set in his 98. 5 truck for 100K miles. Towed a fiver all over North America (and almost to South America) and never had a bit of trouble. He ran them by themselves with a boost fooler. He liked the extra power and him mileage was a bit better or the same as stock.

If all your looking for is a little bit more power then go for it. If you think you might want more later then I would look for a set of bigger sticks. Maybe old DD2's or a set of F1 1. x's. It sucks to spend money on injectors twice (or three or four times).

They are a great upgrade, you will see a little bit of smoke over stock just enough to show your not a stock. They are well worht it and are tow and MPG friendly.

I love the RV275's. They aren't wild but give a nice even 40-50hp increase across the band. Works great with my True Torque Power Module (milder form of the EZ). If I recall correctly, the spray pattern is improved with 7 holes compared to the stock 5.

I have been running them for about80,000 miles. First with an E-Z, and now with a Juice. They are good, but now i want more. ;) Randy

As stated above, their a great little injector that work great if you tow. I run mine with an EZ & you will definantly feel them when you tow. Coupled with an EZ they will throw just enough smoke to have fun with too!

I ran old school DD II's but with 3. 5s & the auto pulling #8000+ it was miserable for me. (EGT's) The DD II's empty however were awesome!

What do you do with you truck?

Clay ;)

This injector still surprises me. My friend has them in his '02 with a smarty and tst box and surprisingly it doesn't smoke much at all. Usually the smarty/tst will make anything look like a freight train, but not with these sticks. Great injector to tow with:)

Auto Question

I currently have a Smarty, 4" Exhaust, Scotty II, and a stock Auto Trans. I would love to add the RV 275's since I need a new turbo anyway (wastegate on my HY is Stuck Shut). I was looking at a HTT Hybrid 40/35 but was afraid that I would not have enough fuel. I am sure someone has a setup like this. Can I keep the Auto Trans in one piece?? Oh yeah I have 186,XXX miles with the orginal trans. Sorry to hijack but it is close.

I definitely got overall better mileage with slightly used RV275s than I did with new 1. 6s or the stock injectors. I've had the 1. 6s in for about a year now.

Lately my mileage has also been dropping off a little more so it's proabbly time to look at the IAT and MAP sensors.
