Ford pyro mount question

Hey gang,

I finally got around to joining even though I have surfed the forums for quite a while now, I had a 2003 QC HO for a year and a half and I just sold it two weekends ago. I bought my buddies 02 regular cab 3500 listed in the sig and have already started the mods, but I mainly bought it to turn around and sell it. So before I get too mod happy I would like to get some opinions on what a good asking price would be.

The truck has 31,000 miles, hooked to a camper one time, truck is absolutely flawless, has the alcoa 5 stars rims, also have original steel wheels and covers with a brand new set of six tires. I was thinking bout asking $29,000 for it with everything.

$29k for an '02 3500 regular cab = full retail. Unless that thing is something someone just has to have, you'll have a hard time getting someone to pay that kind of cake for it.

You can get a really nice used 3rd Gen ('03+) for a little more than that...

29k and making it neg. seemed like a good starting point... . lol. I sold my 03 with 29,000 miles on it for 29,900. I just don't understand the market on the used deisels because there are 00 & 01 going for 25-27k with 80,000+ miles on them. I will probably end up holding on to the truck for a year then selling it. I guess time will tell. Thanks for the replies.

Mileage doesn't affect the resale value of Dodge/Cummins trucks.

Go to KBB.com

Enter in all the info with 30k miles - get a valuation

Enter in all the info with 900k miles - get a valuation... notice how it didn't change much? :coo:

This may be a fluke... but it's something I've noticed over the years...
