All:

I would like to see if anyone here has an opinion :-laf on this particular tonneaus cover.

http://www.ltsportcover.com/

I have looked at the ARE (most popular around here) but they are heavy and cumbersome to remove/install.

I want something I can remove easily but still have a weathertight tonneau cover. This looks to fit the bill but have never heard of them and haven't see any around town. If you own one I would love the feedback. Just wanted some warm fuzzies before I drop that kinda change mailorder and all.

Thanks, Steven

PS.

If anyone has a cover (hard tonneau) that fits this bill feel free to comment on it as well.

I have not seen that one before. It does have possibilities. I would have to see one in person, but the picture just doesn't look quite right.

I have had hard fiberglass(SnugLid and Leer) before and wanted something I could remove easy also.

I went with an Undercover tonneau. I have had it for 7-8 months now and am very happy with it. It meets the bill I think. Price is also a winner, around $650 and takes 20 minutes to install.

I had the ARE type on my 04. 5, and it was a great lid. The main issue was not being able to remove it easily, especially by myself. Pretty much made the bed into a trunk, not capable of hauling anything higher than the bedrail around.

For this reason, I won't put another ARE or similar cover on. It needs to fit well, but also be easily removable.

This aluminum one looks promising...
