I got a couple of the 6. 7 HO Cummins Badges off ebay as seen here:

eBay Motors: CUMMINS 6. 7 HO EMBLEM (item 140143482567 end time Aug-06-07 19:16:48 PDT)

I was going to put them where the C badge is now but now I am not sure If I want to remove that one and replace it with this one as its more "Flat". So I got some tape and stuck it on in a few places to see what it would look like. I removed all the tail gate badges already and have not decided if I am going to take off the "Ram 3500" badges off the side doors yet. I am leaning toward yes. Anyway taped it up in a few places. One was on the grill and the other was in the tailgate where the ram head use to be its about the same size. Pic's are not that great but you get the idea. It also the badge still has the backing on it so it isnt all that clean looking until its installed.

i like it on the grill, i would also try in the bottom left or right corner of the tailgate, but imho if its in the center of teh tailgate, there is too vast an area around it

I put a big red Cummins Power C behind each of the rear doors on the cab. You could also put them on the front doors just under the other badging.

6.7 Badging

I have a couple of the 6. 7 logo's and this what I was going to do as I'm gun shy at sticking these on my new paint and I also didn't want to remove the 'C' that are in front of the 3500 logos. The 3x3 square one I was going to put on a thin piece of aluminum with a stud through it and attach it to the front grill like the TDR Grill Badge from Geno's. GRILLE BADGE - "TDR"-Dodge Cummins and Ford Power Stroke Diesel Truck Accessories - Geno's Garage

I also have one of the larger 6. 7's that I am going to put at the top of my Highway Products Truck Box. I will take some pictures and post when I finally get them on. They are really pretty nice looking logo's but are fairly spendy.

I have played a bit with Photoshop (crudely, not ready for prime time), and decided to put whatever attractive "Cummins 6. 7" badge I purchase (the more 3-D the better), in the lower left corner of the grill(your left as you look at it,... right side of truck).

My thinking: The RAM is the primary symbol of these trucks, and should be dominant.

I don't want this primacy lessened by the ram being crowded by a closely-spaced distracting badge. The subtle elegance of the silver ram should not have to compete with a brightly-colored neighbor.

I feel that the higher-and-centered placement of the ram preserves this relative significance, and the bright red and black Cummins 6. 7 badge in the lower corner of the grill serves to announce the presence of this latest fine diesel in a visually pleasing way.

I plan to also do as Terry mentions,... put the badge on a plate with studs-through-the-grill.

Probably will use similar placement of another badge on the tailgate.

One man's opinion. ;)

My 2 pennies!!...

Don't put that on the grille.

Do put it the corner of the tailgate.

Do take the 3500 off the door.

Don't do nuttin stupid.

Do have fun!!!!!!

Ditto. .

I mean, Is there really any doubt that its a genuine cast-iron Cummins tractor motor under the hood??

Now, there's a reason why ferd needs to put the word "Powerstroke" on their trucks. . Otherwise its just a V-8 that pings alot. . :-laf:D

Talked to a utility-trailer delivery man tonight at a rest-stop. Asked how he liked his '07 Ram C&C flatbed gooseneck-towtruck (loaded with dump trailers).

"Great,... my third Cummins!"

6. 7L?

"Yep. Not so good as the 5. 9's on mileage. Lots more power, though!" (talkin' "stock" here. )

Add +/- 50 horses to that,... and you have our pick-ups (remembering the forum title).

Seems there are tractor motors, ... and then there are tractor motors. ;)

As badge-worthy as anything, IMO.

To each his/her own. :)

Good looking truck, but I'm not sure I like the badge on the center of the grill like that..... maybe in the lower corner? Same with the tail gate; I think it would look better in the lower corner.
