As summer approaches I am thinking of buying a pair of fast coolers for my NV5600. I have seen temps go up around 180F this winter pulling some modest grades. I would like to help reduce the temps this summer while pulling the same grades. I pull these grades every day of the year and would like to keep the transmission as long as I can. Any input of the fast cooler would be mostly appreciated. Thanks Corey:cool:

Corey,

Almost half of the mileage on my truck has been from towing, thus the reason I installed Fast Coolers.

I don't have a temp gauge to verify, but have been told the coolers reduce oil temp by 10 degrees. Stands to reason as you get an additional two quart capacity to help pull heat from rotating parts.

There was a set of coolers for sale in the TDR classifieds.
