Ok guys, I gave this stuff a whirl and am now on my second gallon.

I can honestly say that my average tank has gone from 400-410 to anywhere between 450 and 460. No BS. I'm not getting paid to plug this product.

I just have seen a serious increase with absolutely no change in my driving habits. For the 40 bucks to fill about 10 tanks, it REALLY is worth it.

I can not comment on my vehicles idle, available power or how the injectors and pump are holding up, because I've noticed no difference in day to day operation.

Take it for what it's worth.

Questions welcome.

I'm a firm believer as well. I was using Amsoil Cetane booster and Amsoil Fuel Conditioner until I read a comparison in Diesel Power magazine about all the stuff available for fuel additives. I bought 2 gallons directly from OptiLube and I must say it works better than the Amsoil in regards to mileage gains. I run my rig about 20 miles after the low fuel chime then I pump 33 gallons every time I fuel up to keep it fresh. I get about 550 to 560 miles on 33 gallons or about 16 to 17mpg with OptiLube..... With no additive I get about 490 to 510 miles on 33 gallons or about 14 to 15mpg. I do have a lead foot though and my average highway / freeway speed is 75 to 80mph. When the Smarty is set on 3 that 33 gallons does not last long though as the power and torque is hard to resist:-laf.

I've been running the Opti Lube XPD since it came out on the market. I also have been very pleased with it's results. I am also getting more mpg's out of a tankful of fuel, even with winter blend fuels.

I also can say that my engine runs much quieter on the XPD. I went on a long trip, took my travel bottle along, when I arrived at my destination 2K miles from home a friend asked me about what I was putting in my fuel tank when I filled up, I told him, he had the usual caddy remarks about using additives, I gave him my travel bottle and told him to see for himself. About 1/2 way back home I noticed more clatter noise. When I started putting the XPD backinto my fuel, got quiet again.
