Optima D31m.. Will it fit?

Anyone ever tried to fit one in a 3rd gen?



Length and width look ok. . But it is over 9" high.



Would love to have the CCA in a deep cycle. I had the red tops in my 97. Never had any problems. Just looking for something with mo powa!

Why not just stick with a set of red tops, or yellows... . I know, I know, mo' powa'!! I've got a set of reds just waiting to go in my '03, if the stockers ever give up, at 116. 3k now . Hmmm, great idea for a new thread!

I have a friend with an early 03 with less miles than mine who had one of the stock batteries swell up and cause charging system codes. He was dead in the water. I figure its time to take care of mine before something like this happens.
