Optima, what size for our trucks?

Looking at ordering 2 Red tops over the internet and I want to get the correct ones and the ones that fit . Could someone that has purchased a couple of these post the model number and any other information I should know? Whats the best price you've seen?

I just put in the Optima red top model 34's in, they are a top post mount and are 750 cold cranking amps just like our OEM units... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... Kevin

For you that want to use the red tops, I just came from Costco today and noticed that they are $103. Thats as cheap as I've ever seen. The blue top deep cycle is about $150. I'm thinking of changing mine out even though they are still good for that price.

I bought them off the optima site from internet for like 135 each with free delivery, I have to rely on this as we cant buy notin in this state, it couldnt be a better to place to live but we even get our groceries by mail order... ... ... . Kevin

Thanks guys for the information. I'm going out locally tommorrow to look and compare. Have a batteries Plus store here that carries the Optima and also have a Interstate Battery location that carries them. I will also look at the Interstate batteries since I think they are a good product. One big thing going for the Optimas is that they now have a 3 year replacement warranty where the Interstate has 1/2 that amount. I don't think that is a big thing since my OEM's have lasted almost 3 years and the Optimas and the regular Interstates are better batteries. Again thanks for the info. I did find a internet site Battery web. com that has the Optima 34 Red tops for $99. 00, anyone use them?

The 34/78 Optima red tops (the Optima carried by Costco) is now 800 CCA vs. the 750 shown at this site.



Additionally, the 34/78 has both top and side terminals while the 34 is top terminal only. The side terminals come in real handy for add ons.
