option code RBQ

Does anyone have any info on the availability of option RBQ--the in dash 6 disk cd changer???? All I've been able to find is late availability... ... does anyone know if you will be able to install this option later after it comes out???

It shows up in the accessories catalog with, IIRC, a 0. 3 hr installation time. My dealers parts dept said they could sell it to me for $500 (when it becomes available).
