Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Options for transmission temp sender locations

I was going to order a mag Hytec because it was already tapped for the temp prob. & other reasons. . But then I was thinking with the miles I put on the Tanny service comes around often and do I want the pan hanging by the prob wire? can it be easily reconnected? any options you guys have used.

Jim the wire is just clipped on like a speaker wire, sources will tell you to change the supply line out of the transmission for the one with the fitting installed for a temp probe as this is the hottest the fuild will ever get, and that is a true statement. I have a mag-tech and just monitor the pan temp.
