Order Status / Route Codes?

I spoke with DC today and learned that my truck order was in KZL status (Released but not shipped). The order also reflected a "Route Code G"

I understand KZL means that the truck is built and is waiting to be loaded onto a rail car but what does route code G mean?

I'm starting to feel like a kid again when with Christmas just around the corner

I know what you mean... I can't wait. My salesman didn't tell me anything about the codes. I just call him about every week and ask him what the story is I ordered mine on 12-8-04, it should be at the Seattle dock tomorrow, then on a barge for it's last leg of the journey up to AK. I can't wait... my first diesel Oo.

I wish they had the ability to track these online. I ordered my 05 at the beginning of January and was told I would see it mid February. Yesterday I was told it is in D status which means they have the parts, they just haven't worked up the enthusiasm to actually build it yet. I'm being told mid March now. Every time I ask the date gets pushed out, maybe I should stop asking. Glad I decided not to sell my Suburban until I have the Dodge in my driveway.

I also ordered mine on 1-3-05 and agree, its like waiting for Christmas. Hopefully the news that yours is on its way means that mine is close behind although I've gotten no info out of pesting my salesman.

... Yesterday I was told it is in D status which means they have the parts, they just haven't worked up the enthusiasm to actually build it yet... .

I've got a Chrysler order status code sheet and according to it "D" status means that the build has a firm schedule, serial number is assigned, and it shoud be in that build station for 5 days... Are there different codes that are specific to out CTD's??? ???

My truck was built 1/27/05 and last week i called around tues. or wed. and said it way passed the build codes a was shipped. I placed the order on 12/23/04 and 1st or 2nd

week of Jan i had order# and Vin# with a D1 status meaning all parts availible and its scheduled to be built. I hope it gets here for my BDAY on Feb. 19
