I called DC this afternoon to check up on my oder status, and the lady told me that I went to BE, put me on hold to try to find out more information. When she came back she explained that there was a code error in my order and that I would have to talk to my dealer to sort it out. So I called the dealer and he told me that he saw that yesterday when he was checking on the status of some of his other orders. He told me that DC has a glitch in their system regarding the DG8 code (48RE). He said that the problem would be fixed in 2-3 days. Said the DC computer won't accept the DG8 code right now as it approves orders to be passed on to D status, and he would check back on Thursday to see that the problem was fixed.

What's up with this? I hope it really is just a glitch, otherwise Saltillo has got a little vacation coming as they won't be putting either the 6sp. nor the 48RE in right now. Don't get scared 48RE people, neither person told me about a hold. I'm just going on what was explained to me by my dealer.

Can anyone confirm this computer glitch (Tomeygun)???

mklucas, thanks for sharing this info. Last week my dealer ordered several new trucks with auto's and six speeds and they all went BE status. Checked the codes and they were correct. Think it might have something to do with DC's computer. My guess is it will correct itself in a few days.

Thanks, I'm glad somebody else can confirm this anomaly. I just thought this might be something the dealer wanted to tell me because he didn't want to admit a mistake or anything. With all the codes there could be a lot of different reasons for going to BE.
