Actually, I ordered 4 as the deal was better. BTW the guy that runs Centramatic didn't know anything about the article I linked, maybe someone should send him a copy. It might be interesting to see what he has to say.

Very interesting. On my 19.5 with zero offset the 300 series fit and clear but I had to balance anyway it seems. 6oz just not enough. So fitting on stock rims with the way the centramatics sit against the rim is a little different than my Vision 81s. jWhat rims are you using JPM and let me know how the 400 series works. Now the article speaks of 400-409 not 448s?

Looks like the 400-409 are the flat ones that would fit a SRW and the 408 are for dully and are offset in the pic. I dont see 448s on the website?

Yes its is confusing, I hope the Centramatic people will clear it up. In the meantime I will. I have Rickson forged aluminum rims.

So contacted the company to swap mine out. 409 are 16 inches and tube 1 inch vs 5/8. They have 16 oz bs 6 oz. I am going to see if these will clear brakes and vision rims then swap. That should do the trick i hope and never have to balance again as i swap between tires?

Received the 448s , looked at them and compared them to the 300s . They are the same diameter however the circular tubes holding the beads are larger, and are offset, flush one side. The flush side sits into the wheel fine but I am wondering if the bigger tubes will need more spacers to clear the front brakes. I cant run too much spacer without changing out the studs to longer( the Rickson aluminum wheels are real thick) and I aynt gonna do that . Need to pull a stock wheel off the truck and find out I guess.

I dont see 448. I see 409 and this are 16 in vs 12.7. I wonder if the larger diameter would help clear as i know what you mean. Also the diameter of the f the tube is one inch. Larger diameter may have allowed then to run smaller tube and still pit in more weight perhaps. What is the diameter of your current tubes. Are they larger than one imch

the guy on the phone said the 448s were a set of 4 for a Hummer, he said that the set was a better deal and were the same as the 409s

I DO like the idea of a larger Centramatic ring with more balancing ability for my Rickson 19.5's ...

Does anyone know definitively which set will fit a 3rd gen SRW truck with Rickson forged aluminum wheels??

JPM can you please measure the tube diameter for us. I think despite the 409s being a larger diameter the tube size is supposedly only one inch and my 300 are 5/8

My vision rims are flat on the inside so tubes need to point towards brakes and there isnt much room left

i may have to just pick up a set and try them. Going to be close

the 318s have a tube dia of 13/16" and a overall dia of 12 3/4"
the 448's have a tube dia of 1 1/8" and an overall dia of 13 1/4"

318's fit over the front calipers with a small spacer( I have fitted them and used them with no clearance problems), the 448's will not unless I use about a 1/2" spacer.

So the 448s will have to be returned, I'lll call them tomorrow to see if the Hummer ones will work , or the 409- dually ones. Looking at the website photos it looks like the 409's should work , they have a much larger overall dia, my wheels have plenty of room that way and the larger dia should clear the calipers

Ok, if I recall I used my spacer to put into the indent on the 318 so that my rim which mated up to it, and flat, would contact a flat surface. The side shown in the pic here went against the hub with the outer tubes just clearing the brake caliper. Now without the indent facing the hub and the slightly larger outer tubes I suspect we will need to keep the spacers and put them hub side now to gain the slight clearance....thoughts?

we will see what they have to say, when I ordered the 448's they called me back to make sure I ordered the right ones. So the confusion continues. When I get a chance I need to reread the article.

Any chance the Centramatic dealer in Moline, Mutual Wheel, has them on hand where you could see them and maybe try them?
