ordered new quad 140 box

all i can say what a great deal on a high hp box that is adjustable in cab!



i bought it for my dad who was wanting a step above the ez (65hp). i called and searched all over only to find nothing but good comments about the quad (140hp). i recieved no special deals from quad or kyle at extreme diesel performance but want to thank them for the good deal and great service.



i bought the 140 chip but will only use the 60 and 100hp position and 0 for towing. when the transmission is toast a good converter, reubild and vb then the 140 can be used.



i will let you know how the 48re holds on the 100hp setting and how it compares to the ez. we will also try the 140 for giggles. we dont use the truck for drag racing or 1/4mile with boost launches power is needed for rolling to 60mph and 55mph to 80mph blasts.

Just had the quad race box installed today. I ran it in the 140 HP position a couple of times with no ill effects,I won,t run it there all the time. The 60 hp is noticeable,then in the 100 hp you can feel alot more HP coming on strong. The 140 HP is very noticeable with a little black smoke :-laf . I think anyone who buys this Quad race box would be very happy with its performance. coobie Oo.

well catcracker you and a hundred other guys have convinced me that Im going to get the race quad. Right after I get my DTT transmission this summer. Got a banks box now I really cant complaine it gives more fuel than you should subject a stock Re48 to anyway. But I need MORE . Ive been debating between the tst and the quad race. It may be awile before I can upgrade turbo/turbos so I think the tst will only get me into trouble :-laf lack of self control and all. Given that Im modding I may be my "own warranty station" but I'd rather not honor tooooo many warranty claims.

give Kyle a call! you will be suprised at the $ and you can always sell the box when you want to go with the TST. i am sure you could sell the race box in the classifieds in one day! buy the box put it on your stock 48re enjoy it on the lower levels and once you get the DTT put it on 140hp and get some Don M injectors and a sled puller 66



for those watching i would not tow with this chip or any chip on at all and a stock transmission but that is my opinion. i towed my 33' pull behind with his truck and the ez on 65hp and the transmission seemed not to like it.

well the box is on and will smoke the tires with no trouble! this box rocks. the 48re is so far improved in stock form over the 47re its amazing!



this box makes smooth awesome power easy to install adjustable cheap and will not kill your transmission. i think this is the box to buy for the avg. guy no doubt.



i was not given a deal or was asked to say this i am telling those who want a box and need an unbiased opinion. best $450 you will ever spend on your truck! i would not tow with this box on though.
