Ordered New Truck!

I've been reading this forum and looking at the new Dodge trucks for about 6 months now and finally decided to order my truck. Thanks to the recommendations of members on the forum I was able to hook up with a great dealership. Several members had mentioned that Bossier Country in Fairfield, TX was a great dealership and I second that.

I ordered the truck for $250 below invoice, plus Dodge incentives, plus Farm Bureau rebates. They also gave me more than I expected for my trade-in. Oo.



Here's what I got.

I am going to order a Pullrite Super5th hitch and prodigy brake controller this week.



I am still trying to figure out which running boards to order. I hope to have them when my truck comes in as well.

I, too, gave in to the pressure of watching the new ones coming into the shop and not owning one of them. I sold my 97 to one of my friends and went to the dealer to order one the next day.

I ended up with the Toupe interior. The dark slate was just too dark. I wish they had a medium gray between the two colors. That would have been my first choice. For the outside color it's metallic Silver. It was a close toss up between Atlantic Blue and Silver. But I think the silver will hide scratches better.

With the icy roads you get in the tri-cities what in tarnation are you doing w/ a 2WD. my father-in-law owns Comercial Truck, which is a mobile diesel repair company out of Umatilla. He goes thru a set of chains each year on his Cheby 4X4 service truck chasing Semi repairs throught the scales in the area. I can't imagine having a 2WD living there. I have driven my truck there for the holidays several times and got plenty of useage out of my transfercase lever I will holler the nextime i am going to be up there.
