ordering new truck

got the word Saturday to come in and place order for new 3500. need to find out if 2019 can still be ordered and is there any changes from 2019 to 2020 ??? also any price increase ??? going to dealer Tuesday

2020s have been in production, virus aside, for a while, so I am pretty sure the window for 2019s closed long ago.

Major changes from a 1019 to a 2020 considering Ram didn't exist in 1019.

I would doubt you could even order a 2019 but you might be able to choose between a 2020 and a 2021. You are getting close tot the normal cut-off for the current model year but COVID may have changed the timings.

Maybe a dumb question but why would a person want a 19 when 20's are available? I can see the 18 VS 19 argument.

50 gallon tank on the long beds is worth going 20, otherwise they are basically the same. 20 should have fewer bugs anyhow.

I think that is more to build a truck to locate existing inventory. Once they do a model year changeover it is a done deal, AFAIK.

the dodge build sight is letting me build a 2019 I did both 19 and 20 with same equipment the 19 was 10,000 cheaper all the good stuff. the only thing missing was the 50 gal fuel tank, Dealer ordering may be different will find out Tuesday the 19ies are offering employs pricing'

As mentioned above the only reason you can build a ‘19 is to get to the search feature. You will only be able to order a ‘20.

If you can find a properly built ‘19 the savings could easily pay for the Titan 55 gallon tank.

I’m surprised at the price difference thou. I have built ‘19’s and ‘20’s similar to my ‘18 and there isn’t anywhere near that much price difference.

I find it totally unbelievable that, apples to apples, a 2020 is $10,000 more than an identical 2019.

Your obviously have fat-fingered it somewhere along the line....

And....for the 1,245th time....a 2019 can no longer be ordered.

Perhaps the "Summary" at the end of the build process is reflecting rebates, and netting the price out? There was not that sort of price increase, for sure. Sometimes they are pretty crafty in assuming down payments, rebates, etc. to make it look better.

I too found it strange that it allowed a 2019 to be built. Maybe its just an inventory search helper but it offered 4 or 5 trim levels. a 2019 is a Good bit cheaper when you option out both years the same.

The employee price savings on fully loaded truck is $9980, thats probably the difference.
