Oregon Is About To Explode

I just read a story in the local paper that claims some new satellite radar has detected a significant bulge in the Earth's crust near volcanoes (Three Sisters) in central Oregon. The bulge is 9-12 miles across and 4 inches high. It has progressed to its current size over the past four years.

Not surprising. According to a recent science show on THe Discovery Channel, A large chunk of Southern california will break off and slide into the Pacific, and the Seattle area is doomed to eventual destruction by Mt. Ranier's volcano. The whole left coast is relatively volcano-active, and it's just a matter of time.
Consider that Boeing is beginning to gradually move out of the area. Not a coincidence, I think.
Mammoth Mountain, California has a bulge which has been rising for about twenty years, right along side and under US 395.
Sure hope the ash stays away from us.

And Ron the line of volcanic activity that formed the 50 mile wide caldera that is now Yellowstone Lake is moving to the north. Predictions are that it will pop off somewhere between Billings and Helena. Keep your hardhat handy. If Mt Rainer goes they figure more water will flow down the rivers that drain it in one day than all the water that has flowed down them in the last 200 years. Big problem.

Don't you guys have a passel (southern for "parcel" or, loosely, "collection") of treehugger laws to make eruptions a thing of the past, and just enjoy the Utopian lifestyle? Better call Barbara Boxer or What's-'er-name Feinstein to influence EPA intervention, before that swelling gets out of hand..... 2 females/swelling/'out-of-hand'!
Boy, I amuse me! HMMMMMM... . volcano... . explosion... . the BATF might also have some jurisdiction here. Got any mothers and kids that need to be shot, gassed, or burned up? Better that the government do it in a safe and organized manner than some anarchist geological event.
Who's taxes should be increased for this?

I'm so glad to be in a country where (currently) there's freedom of speech to make fun of some of the Government's stupid attitudes and behaviors.

Simple solution to Kalifornia falling off into the coast. Why don't Kalifornia just create a law that makes it illegal for the state to separate and fall out into the ocean? Everybody needs more laws. #ad

What may be even more interesting is if the earth's poles shift. Scientists say that it has happened before, at one time the north pole was in the Caribbean, that's why oil is found on Alaska's north slope, it used to be in the tropics. California could end up under the polar ice cap.
