Rear SRW tire pressure towing 5'er???

Higher than normal engine temp......

Any of you every pull your toy haulers out on the sand for camping. Will be pulling my 27' Ragn out this week-end and just wondering what kind of troubles people have had.

Just air the truck and trailer down to 15 lbs or so and you can tow it any where. I tow my 35' 5er on the sand no problem after airing down but with 80 lbs in them you go no where.

You'll be limited to relatively flat ground and don't get in a hurry. If she starts spinning and not moving, stop. Holes are a real PITA to get out of. Whereabouts are you going?

which dunes in oregon?

i was at the coosbay dunes this last febuary when i took leave and there was a 24ish foot fifth wheel out there. they came in from the state park. if you went in thru the koa direction there is a pretty tight corner and a little bridge i think would kill you.

or maybe you are talkin about the ones further north and i cant help ya

good luck sir

I haven't done it, but my buddy airs down both truck and trailer tires. Truck to about 25 PSI, and trailer to 30 PSI. He pulls a 38' Forest River and hasn't gotten stuck - yet.

If you get too low on air pressure you risk breaking the bead.

Drive slow, keep your momentum, and try not to stop unless you are someplace where the sand is somewhat hard pack. DON'T spin and get stuck. Better to accept help before you have a BIG problem.
