I don't ski, but if you all want to come to town, maybe some of us locals could get together after the sking is over?? The 9th is a Sunday, I will be in Seaside Wednesday through Saturday, but would be available that Sunday afternoon.
I am going to go kill ducks in the AM after that I am free. The snow looks real good here as long as it is not a blizzard you will have great skiing. About 1/4 mi from my house is some blm to ride on and also about 15miles away is an OHV park that is killer. Dont know if there will be snow but lots of trails. No one has said anything about getting together so if YOU want to stop by call me one of these nights ahead of time and we can figure out a plan. My number is in the travel companion.
I may be biased, living only ten minutes away, but I prefer Snoqualmie Pass -- lots more real estate to cover, and longer diamond runs to play (crash) on. Crystal always seems to be crowded with school-age skiing classes, too, which seems to make my day less pleasant. Summit West opened last Friday (first chair, first tracks), and Alpental opens this Friday.
I would be up for it in the afternoon. I think a snow storm is rolling in saturday but dont know about sunday. Check weather.com and definitely call me.
