Hmmm...

So basically then let me get this correct from him with this ''nice" truck...

You buy the truck from Sleddy, repaint the truck Bright Silver the first night you buy it to make it match your tow vehicle, complete with runs, drips and dirt specs(Yes,I have had someone in Virginia send me pictures of it privately and the paint leaves alot to be desired). Add some new wheels, different turbo(since it had a HX35 on it when it was sold) and a water kit and ask better than 20g's more for it than you paid for it.

The motor is over 5 years old in technology and at one time was one of the strongest out there, but, that was many many pulls ago and will need freshened up to be competitive. Heck, this one isn't even head studded and runs the factory bolts in it. The "nice" double disc is still the SBC which Gene had installed before he pulled the last year so he didn't even have anything to do with buying it.

Yes,this is a good truck for someone who wishes to go pulling with, but,at near twice what Gene got for it and all he added was tires&wheels, turbo and water kit I'd say he will have it awhile... ... . Andy

I thought that price was a lot more than it got sold to him for. Keep in mind the reserve was not met. :--) So we do not know how much he wants for it.

You'd be better off going and buying a common rail off the lot and spending about 10 grand on it and you'll be running with that truck or better.

$58k is joke.

I was considering this truck when it was all red. Now it's red with black and silver overspray... ... ... yuck. He ruined a good truck. He will be lucky to get what he paid for it.

Five days and no bites. No slam on sleddy but im sure he didnt let all the good stuff go.

I didn't. I took off a junkyard turbo and Dremel tooled injectors, He bought the good parts I couldn't afford, from Haisleys. The rest of the truck was intact will all the pulling parts that made it the champion truck it was, and still could be.

Anyone who saw it pull at West VA or PA, knows the engine is still very strong.

You guys all whined when I was selling it, that the "good" parts were stripped, well, it was only a turbo and injectors, and he has put on better than what I won a championship with, and now you are whining that he wants too much!!! What a bunch of arm chair daily driver quarterbacks!!

He wont get 58, but 35-40 is a bargain if you want to go pull top 5 in any state.

Man you crack me up...

Now I may even have to say your full of it again and only trying to be political here and not telling the truth as to make sure you do not ruffle his feathers any...

Are you now trying to tell us all here that NO performance parts were removed other than the "junkyard turbo/injectors" and he got ALL of the good parts?

Come one now,We all know that the majority of the good parts ended up into the "Holstein Express" and you even said so yourself. One thing I can not stand is someone who buys something and because they throw a bit of cash around they think what they have is waaayyyy better than what anyone else has. This is exactly what has happened here,he buys the truck, adds a few minor parts, spray bombs some different paint on it and then makes it out to to be worth a ton of money more than he even paid for it. I guess thats the world nowadays, buy something, pimp it some and then ask twice what you originally paid for it.

At any rate, for that price and his attitude,I hope it gets a chance to rot and rust in his parking lot, complete with the trees of death which will grow through his hood as no one will even get close to his rip-off price. You also make light that at "35-40g's" its still a bargain,I say BS and ask you remove your head from the dark places in which you have it shoved. Opps,I am sorry you need to play kiss-kiss because if not he may not ever pull with your sanctioining body again... ... ... ..... Andy
