I replaced the calipers and brake pads in my 97 CTD 4 x 4 and developed this problem since replacement. It's not severe but is noticable.

The truck has a 195K on the odometer. I have never changed rotors and the run out is . 003 of an inch. If the rotor thickness 1. 500 inches new, I've worn them both to 1. 456" thick, not alot. If new is 1. 5 inches.

Everthing looks tight on the linkages. No movement in the ball joints. I did replace the bearing/hub assemblies in Dec 07 at 191K.

Any suggestions of where to look first? Anyone know what the rotor replacement thickness is?

Thanks,

Hal

Do a runout on the wheel rims , could be a little carossion got between the wheel & hub , or use a torq wrench to see if all the lugs are the same .
Put the ft. tires on the r. , especalily if thats what you did in the 1st place .
Look for bad ujoints on ft. .
