Here I am

OUCH! Chevy vs Dodge

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Best way to check vehicle history?

some new car pics

I wonder how his trial came out. They probably awarded him the old Dodge he wanted. We all know he would be better off. I only wish the driver of the dodge knew he was on camera so he could have some fun smokin him uphill.

inferior product?

I like the part where he says that DODGE is an inferior product. He is so full of it. I guarantee the driver with the dodge had several bombs and other stuff done to his truck. I have never liked the chevys in my life. I just kept laughing all the way through the video.

This is in the 2nd Gen. forum ( no engine/transmission discussions) under "Priceless Video".

I wonder how many noticed hin doing 70 mph and the engine running at 3K rpm?? My "inferior" '97 runs about 1K rpm less at the same speed.

Theres about a million things we can say after seeing this video, but #1 is- and people wonder why we love our motors so much

I did, I'm glad I bought a Cummins :D Do all the LLY duramaxes that have that problem? I know someone that has a 39' 22000# tripple and he towes it with his LLY no problems??? He has the complete Banks 6 gun kit with a ATS transmission and he never mentioned this problem to me.

With all the comments he made such as "crappy dodge" I have no pity for him whatsoever. Glad to see there is some justice in this world. To top it all off he's a jackass for being in the passing lane all the time at 45-55 mph. The quote of the video is "I'm limp"

I think you guys are missing the point of his comments. By inferior I think he is referring to the fact that his truck is newer and should at least be able to out perform an older truck. (stock vs. stock) Not to mention that if I was trying to make a case against a mfg I would try and make it sound as bad as I could. (which sounds worse "My Viper got beat by a Lambo" or "My Viper got beat by a Pinto"?)

I just want to know where he got that software!!! And if there is something liek that for my truck!

the software he's using is AutoEnginuity

I do like the way he drives though. (except for driving slow in the left lane) I would hold that thing to the floor until it explodes. I don't care if it's a Chevy, Dodge, or a lawnmower if it gives me problems I don't want it fixed I want it replaced. The easiest way to do that is to make it "Non-Repairable".

I looked at the front of that video for the first time.

You know what?? What he is pulling: that tandem dual wheel 5th wheel pulls like a sled load of bricks, then you put that high load on it,, well sh... buddy it pulls much harder than that camper with which he is competing!!!

I don't think the Duromax did that bad,, although the guy is a jerk for wrecking his engine.

edit: spelling error fixed
