Have any of you happened to check out the old Ford-Diesel website?(Now DieselStop.com) Man, what a difference in the tone of the subjects! Our 24valve forum is largely devoted to questions on how to 'modify' our trucks for more power, but their's is mostly dedicated to how to 'fix' their stock Ford problems. Even our frequent contributor buddy 'CobraJet' is on their site lamenting about his broken 7. 3CI PSD. (He really needs to get a 24V :) )

Of course, we have our share of real problems, but most of ours are caused by trying to increase our power over stock.

Check their site out, and then feel good about your Cummins!:D

shame on you robby. dont tease the boys.

I was down at ford saturday trying to close a deal. But that was the worst offer for a trade-in that I have ever seen. They were mad cause they had their truck listed at below cost. And were trying to make it up by slaughtering me on the trade. NO GO. 28900 for a brand new crew cab 4x4 7. 3 power stroke. The price is excellent. Im still trying to wheel and deal. We will see. I still love the I-6 but im very cost motivated right now.

Having only owned ford's before my current truck, I was nervous about switching but since seeing all of the problems with the new powerstroke I know I made the right choice.

Like the saying goes. Pay me now or pay me later :)

Been there and read lots while doing research on f350's. I'm still hoping to find a decent 90-97 crew cab 4x4 that will be host for a 94-98 12v Cummins and nv4500.

Seems glow plugs, relays and injectors are a common failure part. Nice to know that you can eliminate all the problems with a transplant:D

Don't forget cam sensors and A/T's.
