The sad story of Ruby Ridge still gets me everytime i read about it somewhere or hear the mention of it. there was a movie made about it years back. it was a faviorite of mine to watch growing up. i just recently found this 2006 documentery video online. its really interesting. it interviews Randy Weaver and his daughter Rachel through out the video. i wont explain the whole story for those of you that dont know, but you can find the story just about anywhere online.

This is the government that controls us... somthing to think about.

yea... i realize it is a huge amount of time, and that will probly scare off most people. but your right, this event was kinda swept under the carpet by the government. it needs more exposure to show the American people a little more about what are government has done to its own people.

you got that right. if the CSA had won the war of northern agression, and individual states still governed themselves id bet things would be a little differnt today, in a good way! D*** Yankees!!!!!

JGrefenstette, have not seen the documentary of Ruby Ridge only what was shown on TV at the time, I thought it ridiculous at the time, why go in with such an attitude, confrontational? Crap, a single person in regular dress go and talk to the people man to man, one does not extinguish a fire with gasoline, granted it can be done, but in that case let the fire do it on it's own, a lot cheaper and more sensible. The same with the Native Americans in Canada, when they protested a golf course being created on land sacred to those people, the Canadian authorities came up with troops in Battle Order, what utter nonsense. Also at Waco, barging in with Tanks, those people were American, should the government be treating them like enemy combatants? Often if people act civilly from the start, things can be discussed in a normal manner, confrontation only causes people to be less willing to discuss matters. People point at Hitler and Stalin but at least their people fully expected of what they would receive from them. Seems America is going down that road, and will unless we voice our feelings.

Very well said. especially that last few sentances. i agree with you. and the biggest thing that gets me with the Ruby Ridge case, is that the government approached Randy Weaver, undercover, and bought 2 shotguns from him, then asked him to saw off the barrels... setting a trap for him. so then, not undercover, they came to him and asked him to spy on the arian nation for them. because they heard he had attended a meeting or 2. but he left because of how extreme they are and didnt fully agree with them. so the government used the shotgun issue as blackmail when he refuesed to spy for them. they said they would dismiss the crime if he worked with them. Weaver, being a former Green Barete and already being angry with our government declined of course, and then accusations began, and the media started to blow him out of porpotion and make him out to be an extremist and a criminal. so the came down on him like flies on crap. i respect him for standing his ground though and standing for what he new was right. its just sad he lost some of his family in the process.

Get the book "Molon Labe" by Boston T. Party. It gives a glimpse of what we may be in for, considering what we're going through. The government is no longer controlled by it's citizens, but is now controlling it's citizens.

JGrefenstette. years ago around 1970, on tour, stopped at a way out in the country roadside store. There was a page displayed from the local town newspaper of where the place got shot up by the FBI. The story was the FBI was chasing some one needed by the Law. The fugitive stopped at the store, outside sitting on a bench an old man was drinking a soft drink, the fugitive grabbed the old man to use as a shield, the FBI car pulled in, two men got out and sprayed the store with gunfire. Luckily the fugitive gave up and no one hurt, one could still see the bullet holes on the walls of the store about 4 to 5 feet high, the store was one of the new metal clad buildings. Reading the report and talking to the owner, (it had only happen a few days before) my estimation of the FBI hit rock bottom, I wouldn't want one for a Dog-Catcher, no regard for INNOCENT HUMAN LIFE.

ill look that book up crobertson. thanks

DJW. what a story! i believe it. some times it seems like they are just glorified bounty hunters, but instead of hunting bounty their hunting the people that dont give them what they want.

JGrefenstte, in general a hostage is the first consideration for any law enforcement officer, if I hadn't had local knowledge I would have found it hard to believe, although years ago someone said , "You notice when they list the 10 most wanted by the FBI, #1 is custody in the next couple of days, they must already have him in custody and just flying their flag a little higher? Granted on the whole as of most things, the bad stands out much more glaringly than the good, as the good is always expected.
