I guess I probably need to go to the fuel station a bit sooner, but I ran out this morning as I was pulling into the station. Took me about 30 minutes to get the air purged from the system to get going again after I was able to fill up. The problem is that the pump shut off at 28 gallons and some change. I have pumped over 30 gal in before. I should have 6 left in reserve with a 34 gal tank. Was it just because I sloshed the fuel as I came over the rise in the driveway at the fuel station? The same thing happened as I pulled up to a light about a month ago (right across from the station). One guy here at work suggested that I might have "the growth" in the tank that is hindering flow at the pickup. After I got fuel back in the LP runs a LOT of fuel when I open the filter canister up a bit. Is there something I should be worrying about, or just try to fill up with under 600 miles on the tank?
