Hello,

Could someone out there tell me the correct proceedure for refueling a 93 W250.

This is what I have done so far:

1. I put 5 gallons of diesel in the tank.

2. I pumped the lever on the fuel pump until I felt resistance.

4. I tried starting it, but it did not fire.

5. I bled the fuel at the at the low pressure bleed screw

6. I tried starting it again, but it still doesn't fire.

I tried searching the forum before posting this question.

Thanks,

Chris

one more step, and it's the messiest - ya gots to crack the injectors loose and bleed the air outta 'em... and here's the kicker - ya gots to crank the engine while yer doin' it else it won't pump out the air. I got mine running after 3 injectors were bled. Be ready to get a face full of Diesel #2... but... some girls love that cologne.

I thought it was always bad to run outta fuel because it's hard on the engine, but I found the hard way that it's just a pain in the a-- to get the air out... ...
