I have a question for a friend that does not have access to a computer.
For those of you that were at the last TDR gathering in Elk River (MN), you may remember his truck. He had a black 03 dullie with a ton of chrome and his cousin had the 03 with the $6000 flame job.
Well, he pulled at the local fair (Mora) yesterday and he called me all worked up. A duramax killed him.
He added a TST and a FASS last week (Tim at Torque did it). He pulled on 5/5 and said he red lined and could not get enough speed (ground speed he said).
The truck red lined at 2850 he said, and he wants more rpms.
Is there any way to achive this? He is having Tim add a new transmission, but he wants more.
He ran the TST on 8/8 (I know, insane) and said it was slipping and bucking.
What can he do to get higher speeds? He said the duramax had an extra gear, and that's why he lost. I have no clue if this is true, or the reason, but I said I would ask.
