I just found this and I am so happy I just had to post a new thread about it. For those of us who have no warranty (whether due to bombing or whatever) we are no longer chained to Dodge for our CP-3 replacements!

This link takes you to Bosch's factory service center locator. When you click on your state, the list of centers will have a field that says "Factory Trained For". If that field says "CR", this is what that means:

CR = Dodge pickup with Cummins engine and electronically

controlled high-pressure common rail system

That means if you're out of warranty and your CP-3 craps the bed (or your injectors too, I bet) YOU CAN GET IT/THEM REBUILT INSTEAD OF THROWING MONEY AT DODGE!!

Thank God. I feel like singing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead". Oo.

I contacted one of the dealers re. common rail injectors. I told him I wanted mine tested to see if they're all good, or if some should be replaced. I told him that one or two ticks while cold, and once I had a miss at idle. Here's the response:

at this time we are still in the process of putting all are tooling together to test common rail injectors

we are still a few months off from being up and running

the only option I am able to offer you at this time is to sell you Bosch REMAN injectors

your cost would be $458. 34 with a $150. 00 core per injector

I am unaware of anyone having the tooling to test and rebuild your injectors to factory specs at this time

thank you for your inquiry

How's the price on the injecors compared to DC? Can you even buy them from DC? Seems like a lot for a reman, especially if you don't provide a core!

Good Grief. $2750. 04 for a set of injectors

I sell 150hp injectors for $1400-1500 +core. Thats 150hp for less than stock.

I can get stock for a grand. That only saves you 1750. 04
