Outboard motors??

Anybody got any suggestions for good and bad brands of outboard motors? I'm looking for something in the 9. 9hp (boat will take up to 15/20) and four stroke for ease and economy. Been a long time since I've dealt with them . Primarily fresh water lakes and rivers is what I had in mind.

I just bought a new 15hp Nissan fourstroke. I have been pretty impressed with it so far. I know honda and yamaha have good reputations but they cost a lot more than the nissans do. It will push our 20' jet boat to almost 10mph and when it is idling you can hardly hear it. They have 3yr warranties like the others also. The reason I went to the 15 over the 9. 9 is the weight. The 15 weighs less than a pound more than the 9. 9 and is only about 150-200 more. I dont think you can go wrong with a honda or yamaha but for about 2/3 the cost and the same warranty I went for the nissan.
