Outside Temp Gage

My outside temp gage on my overhead Console (with Compass, which by the way works fine) is stuck on 69 degrees. Any ideas on how to fix/reset this?

I tried to update my signature (new member) and can't find it. Any help on this would also be great.

Sure at the top go to "Discussion forums" then go to "UserControl Panel" Then under "Settings & Options" go to "Edit signature.

How far have you driven? It can take a few miles for the temp to update. It wont update while sitting still

hey guys, i have a buddy who has a 04 1500 that is having the same problem but his is stuck on 103 and has been this way for about a month. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem in Oct 06 & found on TDR forum re MiniComputer Temp failure (Ambient Temperature Sensor) autoparts.com Standard#TX49 ($13. 08) & Airtex#581136 ($17. 45); the Dodge P/N appears to be 5021984AC. I unpluged sensor (located beneath hood behind grill) & confirmed ID to above two units. While sensor out of circuit the minicomputer read “OC”; reinstalled sensor & following day minicomputer readout appears normal.
