2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Outstanding brake pad life

I'd like to share my experience with the carbon-kevlar pads sold by EGR. They advertise in various TDR sites. I installed their pads, rotors, and stainless lines in mid 2000 to try to improve the short pad life and pull to right that seemed to be normal for my vintage truck. I had tried 2 other popular brands with so-so results. I changed to my 2nd set of EGR pads today with 115k miles of daily driving on these pads. They were about 1/16 of an inch remaining to the bottom of the wear grooves. My truck weighs 8100 lbs and I don't drive like a sissy. The brakes worked way better than the others I tried and the life of the pads way way exceeds the initial cost. Just wanted to share a very positive experience first hand.
