I see people praising vendors for their customer service and I have to pass this on, usually I have the opposite happen to me but I have to say this is a great experience. Bravo Zulu to Larry B's for their outstanding (actually over the top) customer service





This is an e-mail I sent to Larry B's



A while back I ordered starter contacts and a turbo heat shield, I received the contact rather quickly, even though I messed up and only ordered one, but the heat shield has never arrived. Wondering if it is back ordered or just forgotten? I would also like to get that other contact when you send me my heat shield. etc,etc,etc.....

My sincerest apologies! I don't know how this happened. I am sending your HX35 out immediately. I am also including a complete starter set (plunger, 2 contacts) at no charge for your trouble.

Tim, I agree I had ordered the turbo heat shield HX35. Before it arrived Larry e-mailed me to confirm HX and the reason he did this was because he had read my signature. He pointed out the fact that my 2001. 5 had an HY35. He caught the error on my behalf before I received it!

He than sent me the correct HY unit and I of course, returned the HX in the same box that same day.

Guys like Larry B are a rare find these days.

BTW the heat shield works as well as it looks:cool:
