89 cummins

Must be circle flys around them !!!!

Due to the extremely lean fuel mixtures used by the present invention, gas mileage in excess of one hundred miles per gallon may be achieved.

Got that off the Tom Ogle link, if I remember correctly, doesn't lean conditions in a gas burner ruin the motor? They have to constantly keep the air/fuel ratio around 14. 3:1 on a gas burner and that's why it's not as efficient as a diesel because a diesel is a natural lean-burn engine and can run lean with no problems? 100MPG car? Maybe, but how long did the engine last running it that lean? Probably not very long.

Jesse] you are right, it's common knowledge among race folks, by introducing more air thus oxygen to the fuel it will increase power, but has the detrimental effect of curtailing life of engine parts. In the 30s British and probably in many industrial countries, the motorcycle racers would fit what was called, "Lap Pistons" as their name suggests, were designed to last just one Lap or measured distance to claim the fastest time. The ones who were in that sport said the pistons were paper thin, thus less weight for power to weight ratio, trying to add as much speed as possible to the run, as the engines had to be rebuilt after each run, therefore destroying the engine was of little concern.
