I have a 99 automatic with Sun Coast converter and valve body with double deep pan. 59000 miles since installation. Fluid and filter changes at 35000 miles regularly.

Coming home from Arizona I had a weird experience. I started the truck, let the gages and checks cycle, pulled out of the motel and onto the interstate

on ramp. I accelerated and the transmission shifted up normally and into overdrive. It immediately shifted out of overdrive. I pulled to the side of the interstate and the trans did NOT downshift. I limped to the next exit, shut the truck down and fueled. I checked all fuses reset etc. I then started the truck and went down a side road and all worked normally.

In subsequent driving all seems to be fine.

Any Ideas?????????????????????????
