Over Speed warning

I need a device that will turn on an alarm when a set speed is reached. Maybe checked from the speedo cable.

Does any one have a url link to a store that makes these ?



I run a small business and I'm da** tired of the guys running the **** out of my trucks.

If I was a co-worker I'd kick there be-hinds.

One truck has had 2 motors-400 chevy's, a t-400 and noe the rear end. Another 2 clutches, and the third a second motor.



And I thought I was hard on things.

Call up Jacobs Electronics. http://jacobselectronics.com/ Don't know the product is still available, but they had a product called Speed Safe. It does what you are looking for. Not sure if they have one for a diesel, but you could find out.



I had one of their Ultra Team Energy Paks on my previous gas pickup truck. Worked GREAT! Their stuff isn't cheap, but was high quality.

Hmm. Calling them would probably be best anyways. Their site looks to be updated from the last time is was on it. I just remembered seeing the product in an old catalog that I have. That's why I said I wasn't sure if it was still available or not.

Tell your emplyees that you have a devive that records there driving on the trucks. BTW my parents haver alot of problems with there emplyees too

I've seen a memory module that plugs into the OBDII plug that can record any number of things. You take it off and hook it up to any PC to get a report.



You might call one of the equipment truck rental type places and find out what product they use. I just had a GMC 6500 series truck and it was limited to 75 MPH. I'd be cruising down a hill and the throttle would cut out. I thought the thing was breaking everytime I felt it... Of course it did keep me from tearing their truck apart... .

If the vehicles are 1996 or newer they'll have the 16 pin OBDII connector. A company called EASE Simulation has a nifty product than can record anything that comes through that connector.
