I'm considering adding overcab lights to my 2nd gen. --has anyone done this and noticed any difference in highway noise?--any other downside?

And big thanks to everyone who posts poop on this site!

When u consider the fact that the truck it self does not slice through the wind in any way shape or form and even on my 2002 i did not notice any extra noise coming from atop. . on the highway..... penny for your thoughts

Them little lights increase road noise on a DIESEL?? Seriously if you're in an upsy-downsy area (NE, west VA) the cab lights are often the first thing people see as you crest a hill - so less high beams in the face. I'd do it!!

I'm very noise conscious (having spent thousands of $$$ on Dynamat), and I've never noticed any wind noise coming from my cab lights. They are a potential source of leaks so make sure they are installed and gasketed correctly. The thing I love about them is that they make the truck easier to find in the Home Depot parking light since they poke up above trucks of similar height parked next to mine.
