overdrive inverter switch

Today i tried this modification, and as usual nothing ever goes right#@$%! . Anyway this turn your o/d off button to a o/d on button, my wire colors did not match 100%, but i'm pretty sure i got the right ones. I connected everything went for a run, trans won't shift into o/d, i disconnected everything, so it's the way i found it, still no o/d, could the o/d solenoid be stuck or fried? could the switch on the dash be fried? Any help would help... ... I hope. Ken
