Situation;Rolling down the interstate,65 MPH in overdrive. Weather is clear. O/D kicks off and goes to 3rd gear. Light comes on showing O/D off status. Punch button and O/D comes back. Both times it happened I noticed 2 semi"s passing in oncoming traffic at the entrance of a bridge,{not the same bridge} They were running real tight. Could there be electronic signals from radio transmissions that would affect the O/D electronics. Only happened twice in 100,000 miles. Pretty sure it's not my TPCU acting up. Any one else notice things like this?

Seems like most automatic owners have reported a ghost that occasionally pushes the OD off button. It's probably happened to me five times in the last 180k miles. When the TPS acts up the OD off light doesn't come on. Computer glitch or voltage spike? I wouldn't worry unless it starts doing it more often.

I agree with illflem. I have had this happen to me several times, not sure what causes it but its not too big a deal. Push the button and go back to OD. I have a 94 with 128000 miles and it doesn't seem to hurt anything.
