What do you guys think? My '96 12V has 134,000 miles and I believe is on it's original valve. I'm not experiencing any problems at the time, but would it be wise to have a spare on hand? Also is this just a simple replacement, or is there a bleeding process involved? Thanks in advance.

Guy,

No need to do that. It won't fail all of a sudden. The symptoms are that your fuel pressure gets low and it becomes hard to start. It won't make you walk. The problem there is that the OF valve is not the only possible cause of those symptoms so a little trouble shooting is necessary to decide if the OF valve really needs replaceing.

it's easy to replace.
