Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) overflow valve the same on a 96 auto and 5 spd?

I still have a "low power" situation on my 96 5spd. I was thinking of swapping the overflow valve with my buddies 96 auto to see if things change. Are they the same valve?

They are the same for all 12 valve 2nd gen engines.

I just picked one up for $15 that is supposed to maintain 30 psi. Same for all 12 valve engines.

Peter, check the fuel pressure first then go from there, other wise you just shooting in the dark with no data, when you pull it out take a big rag or tee shirt and stuff it around the overflow valve so you can catch the washers. If you drop one and look for it for 20 Minutes you will not be happy... ask me how I know that, then you will put same banjo washers on you list, I carry 6 spares.
