2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission overhead console clips

I am on my second overhead console for my '97. (I don't have the trip computer/temp. display. Just a cubby hole) I had to purchase the second one because I can't find a place to sell me the metal clips that hold the back end of the console up against the headliner. The dealer doesn't have them, and I have searched all the auto parts stores for any kind of clip that even looks like it would work. Any ideas? I really don't want to go back to the dealer to purchase another console, just so I can get some small clips.
